The quick fix
One setting. A few simple steps.
Open your iPhone’s Settings
Use the Settings app on your iPhone.
Go to Wi-Fi
Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on, then scroll to the bottom of the page.
Turn off Connectivity Assist
Switch it off so cellular data doesn’t supplement your Wi-Fi connection.
Check protection in Naka
Return to Naka and make sure protection and ad blocking are on. Reopen the app or website where you noticed ads.
What’s happening
Wi-Fi and cellular, working together
Connectivity Assist uses cellular data alongside Wi-Fi when the connection is slow or unavailable. Apple notes that ad-blocker configurations may need this feature turned off.
With it off, weak Wi-Fi may feel slower because Connectivity Assist no longer adds cellular data. This is a troubleshooting workaround, and may not resolve every ad-blocking issue.
A little more help
Can’t find it, or want more control?
Only turn it off for one Wi-Fi network
Open Settings → Wi-Fi, tap the information (i) button next to your network, and turn off Use Connectivity Assist. Repeat for other networks where you use Naka. The feature can stay on elsewhere.
I still see “Wi-Fi Assist”
On software that uses the older setting, open Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data / Mobile Service), scroll down, and turn Wi-Fi Assist off.
I don’t see either setting
Check your software version in Settings → General → About. Settings can vary by software and cellular configuration. If neither option appears, contact Naka support with your iPhone model, iOS version, and a screenshot of your Wi-Fi settings.
The feature uses cellular data alongside Wi-Fi. A phone without active cellular service cannot reproduce that interaction; iOS Simulator also does not expose real Wi-Fi and cellular settings.
